The regional UMD I-Corps Customer Discovery Workshops introduce teams and individuals with innovations to the concepts of business models and customer discovery.

UMD offers several live (over Zoom), instructor-led I-Corps workshops each year. You may only join these cohorts with instructor approval upon completing the I-Corps Prerequisite, a self-paced, online course.

I-Corps Prerequisite

The I-Corps Prerequisite is the first step of participating in I-Corps. It is self-paced, and allows you to enroll and complete it at any time.

Once you have completed the prerequisite, you will meet with an instructor to review the course content. They will then give you the dates of upcoming I-Corps Customer Discovery workshops.

You do not need to complete the I-Corps prerequisite again if you are applying for I-Corps Next listed below, so please use that link instead.

UMD "I-Corps Next" July 2023

I-Corps Next is only open to those who have completed an I-Corps Customer Discovery Workshop series previously. The program will go deeper with customer discovery and apply it to building out an entire business model, including: Key Partnerships, Key Resources, Key Activities, Channels, Customer Relationships, Cost Structure, and Revenue Streams.
